Refund Policy

1. Overview
Since software development is a service-based engagement involving time, effort, and custom work, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. This policy outlines the general principles.
2. Before Work Begins
If you cancel a project before any development work has started, you are eligible for a 100% refund of the advance payment, processed within 7 business days.
3. After Work Has Started
- Partial completion: If work has begun, payment is due for the hours/milestones completed. Any remaining balance from the advance (for unstarted work) will be refunded.
- Milestone-based projects: Refunds apply only to milestones that have not yet been started. Completed milestones are non-refundable.
- Deliverables handover: All completed work, source code, and assets are delivered to you regardless of the refund outcome.
4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
- Work that has been completed and delivered as per agreed specifications.
- Changes requested after delivery that deviate from the original scope.
- Delays caused by the client (e.g., delayed feedback, missing content, unavailability).
- Third-party costs already incurred on behalf of the client (domains, hosting, licenses, etc.).
5. SaaS Product Subscriptions (CampusMint)
- Pilot programs are free — no payment, no refund scenario.
- For paid subscriptions, cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing cycle.
- Data export is available upon request before account closure.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@sansattech.com with your project details and reason for the refund request. We will respond within 48 hours with a resolution.
7. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds are credited via the original payment method (bank transfer, UPI, or international transfer).
- GST adjustments, if applicable, are handled through credit notes.
